Halibut fishing begins May 1, three days a week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The quota has been reduced so we believe the season will not last much beyond the 22nd of May. There will be a second opener in August 5-7, 2010 or until final quota is reached.
Halibut fishing is done off the mouth of the Columbia River, out about 25 miles in the Pacific Ocean. We fish about 500 to 600 feet down. The water is blue and wildlife is plenty, so bring your camera.
Halibut limits in Washington and Oregon are one fish per angler.

Our average is about 25 to 40 pounds but we've been known to bring fish up to 189 pounds. We use heavy weights to get down to the fish, so bring your muscles! We have deckhands aboard to bait and help you in catching your fish. |

Bring lunch and beverages. We will have coffee aboard each vessel. Warm clothing is needed as it is very cold in the early morning hours. Please be in our office by 4:30 am and be prepared for a great day of fun and outstanding fishing. |

After you come back to the docks with your fish, the deckhand will take your fish up to be photographed. Then they will be transported to our backroom so they can be processed per your instructions. We can filet, vacuum seal, store and freeze your fish. We also have ice for your fish, so bring coolers to transport your catch of the day home. |

Prices includes all bait and tackle. 1-day license is available in our office at a cost of $10.18.

We offer fillet and vacuum-packing service on-site!
